Two launches at the turn of the year and the revision of strategy

Bloober Team, one of the five largest Polish viedo game developers, revised its strategy and announced the launch of three new games by the end of 2015. Bloober Team is specialized in the production of their own, extensive titles from the horror / thriller genre for demanding group of fans of this type of game.

- We made a lot of mistakes but we can learn from them and draw conclusions. The whole situation with the release of Basement Crawl, forced us to think deeply based on the analysis of the game's post-mortem. After several months of analysis of the market and our potential we have come to the conclusion that the best way we can use the strength of our team is to focus on original productions of the genre horror / thriller (which are closest to the team) for the hardcore player. Worldwide, there are only few developers who specialize in this type of productions. Admirers of the genre are demanding players who do not forgive errors easily, so our new productions must be of the highest quality and with very unique ideas -this is our priority - says Peter Babieno, President of Bloober Team.

However, before the release of their first real horror, Bloober Team will present the game Basement Brawl, a successor to the ill-fated predecessor, whose mood is typed in the new strategy of the company. - We have to make things right with those who bought and played  Basement Crawl. That's why we've decided to create  "Basement Brawl" from the scratch and to offer it for free to all players who bought our earlier production on PS4. This unprecedented solution has been met very well by both players with whom we have worked on the new game, as well as the industry media - emphasizes Piotr Babieno. Basement Brawl premiere will take place at the turn of the year.

The first new game in the horror / thriller genre, which will see the light of day in 2015 is Scopophobia. - This is the title, which introduces a solution not used so far in the industry. Horror mainly focusing on climate, but it allows you to play with your friends in the asymmetric game, set in the Victorian era. We hope to surprise players - explains the President. With the launch of this title Bloober Team intends to use new techniques of USP, which in the future will be crucial in the construction of new brands. The company also intends to make effective use of marketing as well as current and new partnerships. This will be used in the creation and during the release of Medium, the biggest production in the history of the company. - We are aware that Medium is shrouded in mystery, but it is in line with our strategy of promoting this game. There will be many famous people and businesses involved in this title. The premiere is planned for the second half of 2015. - Says Piotr Babieno.

After a good first half of 2014, Bloober Team announces further improvements. - The third quarter was very successful for us. Also, the last few months of the year promise to be good as well. This is happening, among other things, due to the popularity Deathmatch Village. Also, you cannot forget that despite the bad release of Basement Crawl, production costs have been recouped for the game, and the game itself at the end of the second quarter has already resulted in an income of nearly 2 million - emphasizes the President.
